What is Lifeline ?

ShareNet's Lifeline Grant Program is an extension of our mission to help those in need of medical care outside the confines of our sharing membership program. The Lifeline Grant Program offers assistance to people who suffer from treatable rare diseases through the use of prescription medications and who qualify through our grant process. 

  • Lifeline is not limited to those who ascribe to the ShareNet statement of beliefs.
  • Lifeline is a healthcare assistance program funded by donations supporting individuals who suffer from  rare diseases.  
  • Potential recipients of the grant program encounter medical hardships stemming from a loss of or inadequate health insurance coverage, particularly if they require expensive medications. To alleviate this burden, the program offers grants for premium and out-of-pocket assistance.
